Device Simulator

The Fire Guard One as an interactive device. The E-Ink display shows live status, local wildfire risk and weather — and in a fire event the direction, distance and municipality of the fire. Works in all three data modes.

LIVE — the display reacts to real fire events from connected sources.

Monitored location: Casa Mira Serra

No fire event inside the alert thresholds.

Alert sensitivity

Scales the configured distance thresholds of the monitored location. Higher sensitivity alerts earlier (larger distances).

The configured per-location thresholds, unchanged

Effective thresholds: emergency < 5 km · warning < 10 km · information < 20 km

Alarm simulation

Synthesised device alarm (Web Audio) matching the alert level: a single tone (information), repeated warning beeps (warning) or a continuous siren (emergency).

Browsers only allow sound after you explicitly enable it here.

The alarm can be loud — check your device volume before enabling.

Visual alarm (always on, for deaf and hard-of-hearing users)

  • No alarm — no fire event inside the alert thresholds.
  • Single signal tone — information: a fire event is inside the awareness distance.
  • Repeated warning tones — warning: a fire event is inside the warning distance.
  • Continuous siren — emergency: a fire event is inside the emergency distance. Follow official guidance.

Push notifications

Receive a push message whenever the simulator's alert status (colour) changes — only on real level changes, never as a flood.

Web Push (this device)

The server has no VAPID push keys configured yet.

iPhone/iPad: first install SYLVIQ as an app (Share → Add to Home Screen, iOS 16.4 or later), then open the installed app and enable push there.

ntfy fallback (no app store, no account)

The server also posts every status change to this public ntfy topic. Subscribe with the free ntfy app or open the topic in a browser:

In LIVE mode the server detects status changes itself and pushes them — even with no browser open.
